  Being a Northsider and a friend who lives down here claims that this was the best of the southside bakery and restaurant for their gourmet "Twinkie" like pastry that I could not find. I had given him a Japanese Swiss roll cake that he compared it to and was curious to understand his taste. Well I was quite disappointed on what I thought would be a great bakery but it was not. On top of that is the fact that they do not stay open past 2 pm. I was also resentful that the server Megan was Unenthusiastic on answering my questions on what is the popular pastry down here as she was the one who served me but decides to serve customer at the restaurant. I would give this place a try again for their coffee since my friend boost this was also good for fresh coffee versus Starbucks and dining in but the pastries would be the last thing on this I would order here from. I was disappointed about that.

  I really love the Danish. I feel compelled to update an earlier not-so-savory post I made in haste - this place is wonderful. The atmosphere is old school charm and the price is just about right. I really liked the server who helped me pick out of a half dozen baked goods - she was bright spot in a bad morning!
